Online Marketing Fair took place for the 3rd time in Madrid. The velocity of changes is really amazing in this area. The main future trends, which are consolidating now, I identified are:
1. Listening instead of Speaking - Enterprises should check social networks to know what reputation they have, so they can improve it and make their customers/potential customers take part in decision-making. Facebook and Tweeter are crucial for getting customer’s feedback. Community Manager is a new job definition for the person doing this monitoring.
2. Long live and prosper to the blogs – A plenty of new firms appeared (such as zync.es), which connect enterprises with bloggers, so brands make advertising and bloggers get paid for that. Other firms are specialists in Online PR such as bigmouthmedia.com, which operates in 7 european countries and in the USA.
3. A profession of account executive – in extension danger? Many firms offers a digital market place for publishers and marketers it works either with established prices or according to eBay principles. ( For example the Google owned DoubleClick)
4. Mobile mobile mobile is the future in everything advertising, applications etc… (tooio.com – the hit), although not for every mobile phone model yet
